A Message to Send
to Our New Leaders
Thank you for your interest in letting your political and educational leaders know that there are already some simple, inexpensive, and effective solutions available.
All comments should be directed to the leaders from your own state. Some of them have e-mail addresses while others post comment forms on their web sites. Please remember to include your return postal mailing address.
Write to President-elect Obama and his team - Click on the button called "Tell Us Your Story" in the red box to the right of the pictures.
Find your State Legislators (select your state at the left, and "Legislators" in the box at the right of the page)
To find your state's Superintendent of Schools and others in your school system, put the name of your state or county and "public schools" in your search engine. If you know the name of your local school, you can also find their website and the principal's contact information by doing a search for the school by name (include your state since other states may have schools with the same name).
Since some of the contact forms limit you to 1,000 characters, we have prepared the following 985-character message for you to copy and paste into the contact forms. The link goes to a page titled A Message to Our New Leaders. When space allows, feel free to add your own story as well.
Our nation faces enormous problems and challenges, but there are families and professionals who have already found some effective solutions that are both simple and inexpensive.
Depression, school failure, criminal behaviors, and the epidemics of ADHD, OCD, PDD, autism, and asthma – many people can be helped by removing harmful dietary and environmental chemicals, and by addressing nutritional deficiencies or imbalances.
Some of the causative factors include exposure to heavy metals, petroleum-based food additives, environmental toxins like pesticides, and sometimes less obvious substances like dairy products or wheat.
Health-enhancing additions include: nourishing food, essential fatty acids, various vitamins, and attention to vision and auditory deficits.
Rather than throwing more money at the problems, please first look at the solutions that already exist; most are very inexpensive. See http://www.feingold.org/Leaders.html for details on these exciting options.
